访问和住宿服务中心(CAAS)

作为一名学生开始在特里顿学院注册, they may notice that the accommodation process is quite a different experience than when they were in High School. This two-page h和out provides a general overview of differences between high school 和 college.

Professors for the courses the student listed on their 服务请求 form will receive an email notifying them of the student’s approved accommodations. The student will need to inform their professors that they wish to use their approved accommodations.

Returning students must submit a 服务请求 form each semester after registering for classes to activate their accommodations for the upcoming semester. 如果学生等到下课后才开始提交他们的服务请求, 住宿从民航处收到填妥的表格之日起到位. 住宿不能追溯批准.

Returning students who want to use 水獭 must submit the 水獭 application 和 agreement each semester they wish to use the software.

学生 requesting a sign language interpreting service for meetings or events aside from classes need to submit an interpreter request form at least three days prior to the event. 学生 needing sign language interpreting for a class must notify CAAS three (3) weeks prior to the start of class.

学生 may use their approved testing accommodations along with items approved by their professor.

学生 will need to communicate with their professors regarding questions or concerns regarding homework 和 classwork. Extended time on home work is an approved accommodation under certain circumstances with the student communicating with CAAS 和 the professor in advance of the due date.
